St Marys Cement in Bowmanville, Ontario, (part ofVotorantim Cimentos) decided to increase the capacity of its 5000t/day plant to 5800t/day back in 2000. This required the output of a 2237kW calciner induced draft (ID) fan to be increased, while saving energy through efficiency improvements.
