Global Cement (GC): Please could you introduce Cement-Lime JSC for our readers? Demchigjav Avid (DA): On 27 May 1976 a contract was signed between the Mongolian People's Republic and the USSR for the Cement-Lime JSC industrial complex at Khutul, construction of which began on 13 June 1980. The cement plant began operation in 1986 with two wet kilns and a production capacity of 0.5Mt/yr. A 65,000t/yr lime plant had already begun production in 1984.
