Liquefaction Project. Trunkline Gas Co. LLC, Lake Charles LNG Co., LLC and Lake Charles LNG Export Co. (CP14-119, CP14-120, and CP14-122) together recently blasted Sierra Club comments on a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) that reviews the impact of the 3/25/14 Trunkline application to FERC for authorizations to build new pipeline and compression facilities, remediate some existing pipeline and make repairs, all under the label "Pipeline Modifications Project”. Lake Charles LNG and Lake Charles LNG Export had concurrently with Trunkline filed application to develop “Liquefaction Facilities” on a site adjacent to Lake Charles LNG’s existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal located in Calcasieu Parish (the Lake Charles LNG Terminal) along with minor facility modifications at the terminal to facilitate storage and subsequent export of the LNG. The liquefaction facilities and the modified facilities are collectively referred to as the "Liquefaction Project".
