The unusual parthenopid crab, Lambrachaeus ramifer Alcock, 1895, was observed feeding on the aposematically coloured sea slugs, the gastropterid cephalaspidean Sagaminopteron nigropunctatum Carlson & Hof and the chromodoridid nudibranch Mexichromis mariei (Crosse), representing the first known cases of in situ predation upon sea slugs by a brachyuran crab.
