Three Chevys, a Ram, three GMCs, and a Jeep (yes, you read correctly) duked it out for a week in the rocks, sand. mud. and snow, and even some time on the highway. By the end of five days, we gathered enough data to crown one truck the winner of Four Wheeler's Pickup Truck of the Year. Here's how we did it. Four Wheeler's Pickup Truck of the Year is the hard-core, weeklong shootout where we determine the best pickup truck for 2020 by driving in sand and snow, up hills and across dunes, over jagged rocks, through water, and more. We drove each truck roughly 1,000 miles mixing highway and track data in with our off-road testing. By the end of one week, our handpicked panel of judges - a crop of seasoned experts in everything 4×4 and off-road-had selected a winner. Here's how it all went down.
