摘要

The structure of the crystals grown from a solution of dimethylammonium and cobalt chlorides is determined. It is found that the crystals have the composition [(CH3)(2)NH2](2)CoCl4. At room temperature, the crystals are monoclinic (space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4) and the unit cell parameters are as follows: a = 8.545(2) angstrom, b = 11.447(2) angstrom, c = 13.313(3) angstrom, and beta = 90.10 degrees. Cations and anions form simple and bifurcated hydrogen bonds N-H center dot center dot center dot Cl.
