In the spirit of patience...: ANtoney Wilkinson, along with Steve Alsopp, take up the challenge of building Mach 2's 1/72 Armstrong Whitworth Argosy
Ahh the memories... warm summer days in the 1980's working in Melbourne's air traffic system and in particular watching my colleagues in air traffic control struggle to assign an appropriate altitude in an attempt to keep IPEC's heavily laden 'Whistling Wheelbarrow', with its four Rolls Royce Dart turbo props screaming, from falling out of controlled airspace in its slow lumbering climb out of Essendon Airport. These aircraft were a common sight in our skies during this time with their unique twin boom airframe layout and their 4 Dart turbo props sounding like two Fokker Friendships flying in formation, making them instantly recognizable.
