Kit - Injection moulded styrene, reissue (new decals). Contents - 126 grey styrene, 10 clear styrene, 1 decal sheet and 1 set of instructions. Mouldings - Crisp, clean mouldings with no flash and no obvious surface imperfections. Surface detai includes finely engraved panel lines and rivets along with sharply defined raised detail as appropriate. General Comment - This is the third outing of Air-fix's lovely new Mustang moulding, first released a couple of years ago. The kit, apart from a new decal sheet, is unchanged from previous issues with all the options previously available such as optional cockpit hoods, wheels, propellers, exhausts, underwing provisions plus poseable control surfaces and the option to pose the undercarriage retracted or extended, all included in this kit. The only requirement is to ensure that the correct options are chosen for this particular aircraft (the instructions are pretty good here). The instructions provide finishing details for one RAF Mustang IV and one RAAFP-51K Mustang.
