The species of the caridean shrimp genus Hefriga from the Late Jurassic are reinvestigated: H. serrata, H. rogerfrattigianii, H. frischmanni, H. norbertwinkleri, and H. proboscideawulf, based on both the historical type specimens and better preserved topotypic material. The new material originates from f ve localities of the Solnhofen Archipelago (late Kimmeridgian - early Tithonian) and exhibits signif cant variation. It is unclear whether or not the observed taxonomic diversity and morphological variation in Hefriga reflect radiation within different environments of the Solnhofen Archipelago. An identif cation key to species of Hefriga is provided.
