As predicted, this week has been rather calm for European scrapexporters. Suppliers managed to sell almost all the material availableamid high buying activity a week ago, so no new contracts have beenreported in late December. At the same time, demand from steelmarkershas dropped as they have already purchased enough material for theholiday period and now are able to focus on previously signed contractsfor finished products, which increased considerably recently.
