Turkish sellers of structurals have raised export and domestic pricesquickly, referring to higher scrap and square billet quotations. At thesame time, most foreign and local buyers have preferred to take a waitand-see approach by the end of the year and plan to start purchasing inJanuary. Suppliers, in turn, are looking for new customers in alternativemarkets. Although sales are rather low, they are quite optimistic, hopingto raise prices by another $10/t in the short term.
