CEO Lorenzo Simonelli, speaking on a call with investors, said their system is called "electric frak" and can reduce flaring, carbon dioxide emissions as well as the amount of people and equipment needed at a drilling site by using associated natural gas to power turbines that are used for the hydraulic fracturing operation. The CEO said the system also helps operators forced to flare billions of cubic feet of natural gas because of infrastructure constraints.
