South Korean tyremaker Nexen Tire has appointed Michael Haupt as the head of’Premium OE’business sector at the recently-opened Nexen Central Research Institute(Nexen univerCITY).He was former tyre development specialist at Porsche.Haupt will be responsible for creating premium tyres for OEM customers.Haupt has previously worked as head of the business sector at Ford Motor and since 1996 as the head of Porsche's chassis and tire development.Nexen Tire inaugurated its new central research and development facility in Seoul,South Korea.
