This is the view of BS Shetty, general manager commercial for AlGhurair Iron & Steel (AGIS), a re-roller and coater based in Abu Dhabi,UAE, who says growth in steel demand in the Middle East is seenclimbing nearly 5% next year to 56.5 million mt, the second-fastestrate among all regions charted by the World Steel Association.
