摘要

The Energy conservation of sensor nodes for increasing the network life is the most crucial design goal, while developing an efficient routing protocol, for wireless sensor networks (WSN). To detect, collect and route the information efficiently, the WSN are managed into clusters. Most of the cluster-based routing protocols, are consider, the residual energy of the node as the main parameter, for the cluster head and the relay node selection. It is an inefficient methodology, because one parameter consideration gives improper selection of the cluster head, as well as the relay node. REAS-Residual Energy aware Angle based routing protocol for Wireless Sensor Network, has been proposed to achieve the energy efficiency, in WSN by strategically, selecting the parameters such as residual energy, angle of the nodes, node status and the distance of the node, towards the base station (sink). The simulation result shows that the proposed REAS scheme, is more efficient than the other existing cluster-based routing protocols.
