摘要

Ultra-thin chemically strengthened glasses showed enough flexibility and impact failure resistance for foldable devices. Almino-silicate glasses of 0.1 mm in thickness with slimed using HF etching with 965 MPa of CS and 15 μm of DOL applying our new process achieved 50% higher impact failure resistance for falling object than those glasses applying conventional chemical strengthening. Furthermore, those glasses achieved 5.9 mm gap distance by bending. The effects on improving both impact failure resistance and bending strength are considered to be attributed by not only high CS but also the new process which removes the glass surface where tiny flaws exist.
