摘要

BiOBr:Yb3+,Er3+/AgBr (BYE/AgBr) heterojunction photocatalysts were successfully synthesized by a deposition-precipitation method. The characteristic of the as-obtained composites were tested by XRD, EDS, SEM, TEM, XPS, DRS and PL. As-obtained BYE/AgBr composites exhibit strong NIR light absorption and upconversion emission from NIR to UV-Vis due to the upconversion transition of Er3+. The heterojunction was constructed due to the appropriate band structures of BYE and AgBr, which distinctly improves the separation rate of electron-hole pairs. Compared with pure BYE and AgBr, as-synthesized BYE/AgBr samples exhibit distinctly improved photoactivities under the irradiation of Vis/NIR light, which can be attributed to the upconversion effect of Er3+ and the construction of heterojunction. This result provides a promising system for efficient harvest of the Vis-NIR light, which will contribute to the utilization of solar energy in the future.
