摘要

It is not just LNG producers that have been attracted to India by the reforms initiated by Narendra Modi's government. In April, Saudi Aramco reached a preliminary agreement with Indian companies to take a 50% stake in a proposed S44bn integrated refinery and petrochemicals complex in the state of Maharashtra on the west coast. The complex will be one of the world's largest, with capacity to process 1.2 million barrels per day of crude oil and produce 18m t/y of petrochemicals. It could be a precursor to Aramco developing a fuel retailing business in India.
