摘要

We study the transport of Brownian particles in a two-dimensional asymmetric channel in the presence of a transversal oscillating force. By numerical simulations, we find that the transport can be manipulated by a longitudinal shift between the top and bottom walls of the channel due to its influences on the distribution of the particles. In addition, the transport can be enhanced remarkably by choosing proper parameters (the shift, the amplitude and frequency of the force). Remarkably, the average velocity may be increased by a factor of 10 compared with the case of no shift.
