The Spanish agrochemical industry has called for and is hopeful of gaining the implementation of a faster national approval system for pesticide products. The agrochemical association, the AEPLA, has put an action plan to a vote of its members. Top of the agenda is a demand for a "radical change" to the national registration system using the "finalising of the" EU review of pesticide active ingredients to resolve the delay of several years of product approvals.
