The group was dismayed that the government did not join it and other petitioners in seeking to overturn the decision of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit that resulted in pesticide applications over or near water requiring National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits (Agrow No 585, p 15).
