Arysta LifeScience has agreed to acquire assets of two agrochemical businesses of South African group AFGRI Operations. They are the selected assets of its subsidiary, Tsunami Plant Protection, and the business and selected assets of its subsidiary, Tsunami Crop Care (both Heidelberg). Tsunami is a medium-sized agrochemical business in South Africa, has a broad product portfolio and development pipeline, and a "fair market position in key maize- and fruit-growing areas", Arysta says. It markets all pesticide product segments based on over 50 active ingredients for crop and non-crop markets.
