The dangerous drugs are synonymous with controlled substances and now known for their abuses and upgradation by adding more potency by synthesis of designer drugs of diverse moieties with optimum use of substituents for the desired effects.The trafficking of these drugs of the present and yesteryears’generation is also at high ebb inviting attention of all concerned to sustain the stability and order of the society.The facets of these control substances have been discussed in respect of historical perspectives.
