Argentine authorities have set new maximum residue limits (MRLs) for pesticide active ingredients for several crops for consumption in Argentina. The national plant health inspection service, the Senasa, has issued Resolution 934/10 setting MRLs for imported and nationally produced agricultural products/sub-products for domestic consumption, and for products that have not traditionally been cultivated in Argentina. The Resolution has created three Annexes listing pesticide products and their requirements, and was issued on March 31st 2011.
