A group of companies has lodged an appeal against a recent court judgement that upheld the EU decision not to reregister the fungicide, diphenylamine (DPA). In January, the European Court of Justice's General Court dismissed a previous action against the European Commission's 2009 decision on DPA {Agrow No 634, p 8). An appeal on behalf of French company Xeda International (Saint-Andiol), US company Pace International (Seattle, Washington) and Spanish company Decco Iberica (Valencia), which is part of United Phosphorus, was lodged at the EU court in March.
