The UK government's Pesticides Safety Directorate (PSD) has launched a new off-label approval scheme for pesticide registrations.The new scheme aims to increase the scope for the UK to recognise certain approvals in other EU member states."Many member states have been operating to standards equivalent to the EU agrochemical registration Directive (91/414) for some years and full evaluations are no longer necessary in relation to new uses for minor crops,for products already approved in the UK," the PSD says.
