How used to that increasingly characteristic high-pitched 'buzz' should people get, as the personal/private use of drones continues to challenge legislators and authorities' efforts to effectively regulate a technology that seems to be a couple of steps ahead? Holding sway I asked myself this recently, when embarking on another self-flagellating run through my local urban environment, gradually becoming aware of said noise. Looking up, lo and behold, a small drone was hovering 15-20m above, embarked on whatever mission was intended. Of an operator, there was no sign. Which got me thinking, how many of us can cite an example of a drone casually buzzing overhead as you went about some banal day-to-day activity? Most, if not all, will have been proximate to this, whether or not the brain picked up on the noise over the drone of daily life.
