The dorought in europe last summer contributed to a 5.5% fall in domestic pesticide sales among members of the german crop protection industry association,the IVA,to euro l,071 million (usl,271 million)in 2003.Much of the decline was due to a 13% reduction in fungicide sales to euro390million due to the extremely cold winter and the hot,dry summer.
