The Indian government is to urge state authorities to strengthen their enforcement actions against counterfeit pesticides,following representations from the industry at the end of March.Ram Vilas Paswan,Minister for Chemicals,Fertilisers and Steel,also pledged to write to state Ministers and highlight the need to take more account of the specific problems faced by the industry.
