The future adoption of genetically modified crops by EU farmers will depend on what type of co-existence and liability measures are imposed by member states,concludes a study by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC).Results from Spain indicate that farmers growing GM crops are benefiting from average gross margins that are euro 85/ha (115/ha),or 13%,higher than conventional crop farmers.
