Pesticide use on soybeans in Brazil grew strongly in the five years to 2005 along with rising use of genetically modified crops,the business daily,Valor Economico,reports.Farmers used 60% more of the 15 main herbicide active ingredients by the end of the period.The figures come from a study by the Brazilian environmental institute,the Ibama.
