The Chinese agrochemical supplies company,Sinochem International(Shanghai),has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in India,Sinochem International India(New Delhi).The company will be mainly involved in operating the butachlor and alachlor herbicide businesses that were acquired from Monsanto Asia in March this year(Agrow No 536,p 1).It also aims to introduce Chinese pesticides to the Indian market.
