AbstractA new procedure to analyze particle motion in turbulent flows is presented. The existing Euler method does not accurately account particle charging, while the computational cost of the Lagrange method is high. A new approach to this problem is based on the distribution of the particle concentration in the turbulent jet spreading from a point source. This procedure makes an allowance for the dispersion of particle charges and has a low computational cost.
