摘要

The main objective of This study was to analyze of agricultural issues content in the Al-Ahram Daily newspaper from the extension viewpoint during the period from 01/07/2010 and until 31/12/2010, the specific objectives are: (1) ) to identify the range of newspaper interest of agricultural development issues, (2) to identify the areas addressed by the newspaper during the studying period, (3) ) to identify the range of attention about methods of protruding press issues, (4) ) to identify templates press releases that have been adopted by the newspaper in the presentation of agricultural topics, (5) ) to identify which pages are most dealing with agricultural issues, and identifying which days of the week are allocation of agricultural issues. In order to achieve the objectives of the content analysis approach was use to the number of consecutive 184 Number of Newspaper issued during the period from 07/01/2010 until 31/12/2010, Percentages and frequencies was used to describe the data.The results revealed that the plant production field was taking the first rank among the three areas studied. Wheat crop ranked first among the rest of the crops, while was the subject of meat, the first between the topics of animal production, while water issue was ranked first among the rest of the topics of the field of Rural society service. Also results showed that the agricultural issues spread irregularly between the pages of the newspaper, and within the same page, as well as not there are pages dedicated to the issues of agriculture, as well as the news was more mold press used in the liberation of topics, also results showed that the rural development officials are more The target of agricultural topics.
