Interventional musculoskeletal procedures are becoming increasingly popular in both the academic setting and private practice setting. With the increasing volume and expanding variety of procedures, it is useful for us to reflect on where we are in 2009: What is the role of the radiologist with regard to musculoskeletal imaging-guided procedures? Where have we been, where are we currently, and what is our future? How can we grow our imaging-guided practice?
