Primary U.S.propane/propylene inventories grew by another 2.9 MMbbl the week ended Sept.13,according to the Energy Information Administration's(EIA)This Week in Petroleum report.The 3% lift brought stocks up to 100.7 MMbbl,a level 14.3 MMbbl,or 16.6%,greater than the most recent five-year average for the same time of year;25.9 MMbbl,or 34.7%,higher than last year;and 19.9 MMbbl,or 24.6%,above two years ago.EIA reported that Gulf Coast volumes built by 1.2 MMbbl and the East Coast and Midwest by 900,000 bbl each.Meanwhile,Rocky Mountain/West Coast supplies decreased slightly,virtually unchanged.Propylene non-fuel-use inventories represented 4.1% of total stocks,just off from 4.2% a week earlier.The agency said the U.S.ended the week with 105.7 days of propane supply,up from 96.9 days the previous week and 70.0 days a year ago.
