Hereford-based Wyevale Nurseries, formed in 1930, has been re-organised and simplified "with renewed passion and determination to become market leaders in the wholesale supply of trees, transplants and container-grown plants into the British marketplace".Sales and marketing director Adam Dunnett says a number of factors have come together that have led to a strengthening and optimism within the business, which remains owned by the Williamson family. Turnover was up to ￡9.69m from ￡9.29m in the year to31 July 2017. Profit before tax was ￡160,000, up from ￡45,000. The company says this reflects increased demand and favourable weather compared with the previous year.
