After a brutal election season in the United States, I find myself asking, 'how did we get here?'. As an educator, I am particularly interested how this upheaval impacts education. What will be the fate of our educational system in the aftermath? Although there are many lenses from which to investigate this question, how can examining Britain's shifting educational climate help us navigate our current educational terrain?
