China’s Shandong Iron & Steel has placed an order with Germany’s SMS group to supply a plate millfor Rizhao Steel Base, being constructed in Shandong province, Metal Expert learnt from the supplier’spress release. The 1.3 million tpy plate mill is scheduled for commissioning in 2019.
