摘要

Two phosphite-stabilized titanium-oxo clusters (TOCs) functionalized with ferrocenecarboxylate ligands, namely, [Ti-6(mu(3)-O)(2)(mu(2)-O)(2)(mu(2)-OiPr)(4)(OiPr)(6)(O3PH)(2)(O(2)CFc)(2)] (Fc = ferrocenyl) and [Ti-5(mu(3)-O)(2)(mu(2)-O)(mu(2)-OiPr)(2)(OiPr)(4)(O3PH)(2)(O(2)CFc)(4)] were synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The photophysical, photoelectrochemical, and photocatalytic properties of the clusters were investigated. These two clusters exhibit intense visible absorption with narrow band gap of similar to 2.2 eV. The photocurrent response and dye degradation experiments show that the Ti-oxo core structures have influence on the photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic properties of these ferrocenecarboxylate-functionalized titanium-oxo clusters.
