The list of fishes of the circumlittoral zone of northern Primorskii krai (depths from 0 to 20 m), comprising 135 fish species from 46 families, is given. Seven families (Cottidae (17 species), Pleurinectidae (17), Agonidae (8), Stichaeidae (8), Salmonidae (7), Sebastidae (5), and Osmeridae (5)) are represented on the broadest scale. The portion of southern migrants is also relatively great, i.e., 32 species (23.7 percent). A few species (14 species of the holocircumlittoral group) are adapted to dwelling in the dynamic coastal zone their entire life. Most fishes (102 species) spend only a certain part of their life cycles in shallow water (merocircumlittoral group). A small group of fishes (19 species) come to the circumlittoral zone from other biolopes (Xenocircumlittoral group). Many of the sea fishes dwelling in the coastal waters are euryhaline, and enter into brackish and fresh waters.
