Rare resident forms of the masu salmon Oncorhynchus masou from Primor'e are described. Potential mechanisms of formation of intrapopulational forms are shown. With consideration of the morphological analysis, special traits of scale structure, and experiments on raising masu salmon in ponds, individuals at different levels of maturation and development are discerned. Among males in the southern part of the geographic range, four ecological forms are distinguished, separated at the epigenetic level.The obtained data expand our knowledge about the intraspecies and intrapopulational organization of the masu salmon living in Primor'e.
