摘要

In order to apply K_0-based NAA at DHRUVA reactor, neutron spectrum has been characterized for five tray rod positions (1A, 2A, 4A, 16B and 25A). Values of epi-thermal neutron flux shape factor (a) and sub-cadmium to epi-thermal neutron flux ratio (f) have been determined by cadmium ratio method using Au and 94Zr monitors. The a value for the Al position was +ve whereas for other four positions the values were -ve. The f-values show that all the positions are highly thermalized with about 99 percent thermal neutron component. The IAEA CRM Soil-7 was analyzed using gold as the single comparator to evaluate accuracy of the method and percent deviations for most of the elements were found to be within + - 10 perent.
