The development and use of pyrethroids, and in particular deltamethrin, whose contribution to human health is multi-faceted, are testimony to the continued dedication of scientists and advisors to find and develop new uses. Decis~R and K-Othrine~R family of products are today used in ways never before imagined. In this article just some of the options are highlighted. As new materials and delivery systems are developed, many more applications are likely to be found.
