摘要

Deltamethrin is one of the top pyrethroids with a long and successful history of more than 30 years. It has been formulated in many different ways to meet customer needs (e.g. safe handling) as well as regional specificities (use and pest characteristics). Designed for dilution with water but also as ready-to-use products, deltamethrin products are available as solid and liquid formulations with low and high contents of active ingredient and further upgraded with a special emphasis on product safety(e.g. solvent-reduced emulsion concentrates). Deltamethrin is highly effective against many sucking and chewing pests after either direct absorption or contact by spray droplets or dried deposits on the crops. Often several routes apply at the same time.Recent approaches aim to keep the superior deposit availability of deltamethrin along with other beneficial features to give increased flexibility for today and future uses. This includes the trend to coarse spraying for reduced drift which may cause less efficient contact to pests and crops. The fLUXX concept compensates for these changes and generally helps to ensure effective delivery of the pyrethroid to the target organism.
