摘要

The commercial (hot-rolled and annealed) Ti-6Al-4V alloy subjected to electropulsing was investigated in this study. The results show that the electropulsing-treated sample with optimized parameter exhibits greatly refined microstructure and notable strength improvement without loss of ductility. The main strengthening mechanism is recognized as phase transformation and rapid grain refinement induced by recrystallization under EPT.
