摘要

In [1, 2], Gottlieb studied a certain robot arm in R~3 and proved that its configuration space is a torus T~(n-2). If we impose further condition on the motion of the arm, then its configuration space is a hypersurface M_n of the torus. Many topological properties of M_n have been proved in [4] but the homology groups are left unknown. In this paper, we determine them.
