摘要

Disepalum plagioneurum (Diels) D. M. Johnson (Annonaceae) is reported as a new record for Laos. Description and illustration are provided.The genus Disepalum Hook. f. is a small genus in the family Annonaceae with nine species of shrubs and trees in tropical lowland and montane forest (Johnson 1898). They are found only in the continental southeastern Asia and western Malesia. The genus isdivided into two subgenera: En icosan the 11 um (Ban) P. S. Li, D. C. Thomas & R, M. K. Saunders and Disepalum, according to the number of sepals and petals (Li et al.2015). The subgenus Disepalum is characterized by its unusual floral structure: a calyx consisting of two sepals and a corolla consisting of a single whorl of connate petals. This group comprises six species: D. platypetalum Men*., D. coronatum Becc, D. acuminatissimum Boerl.& Koord., D. aciculare D. M. Johnson, D. longipes King, and D. anomalum Hook, f On the other hand, subgenus Enicosanthellum, like most Annonaceae, has trimerous perianths: calyx with three sepals and two whorls of three petals. This group comprises of three species: D. petelotii (Merr.) D. M. Johnson, D. pulchrum (King) J.Sinclair, and D. plagioneurum (Diels) D. M. Johnson.
