The peculiarties of the contamination of green coniferous twigs by Chernobyl-derived ~137 Sr is considered. It is shown that green twigs can be safely used as green addition for fodder in almost all regions of Russian Federation contaminated by redioactive fallout due to the Chernobyl accident.
