This paper reviews the current situation of food grain production, agricultural mechanization, and facilitization in China. The point of matter in agricultural production in China is just moving from the achievement of quantity sufficiency to the viewpoint of products quality. Author described some problems in agricultural production and their countermeasures, such as the policy of production structural adjustment and the role of agricultural engineering and technology in the development of agriculture in China.
